Around Malé a visiting yacht cannot simply run its own tender: the capital’s harbour is a busy working commercial port, vessels stay at anchor, landings are made at designated jetties under port instructions, and every foreign yacht must operate through a licensed local agent. The Hawks keeps guests and crew moving with dedicated, locally licensed speedboats and tenders, so internal travel carries on while the yacht stays at anchor.

Three tugs support barge movements, berthing and towage around Malé and the Thilafushi terminal, and are available for yacht assistance on request.
